Taxes and H-2A
Although employers are not required to withhold taxes for their workers under the H-2A Program, the employer must receive Social Security numbers from the workers and issue W-2. The worker is responsible for filing their own taxes. Should the worker not have a number he/she needs to apply in person at the local Social Security Office.
